Description: These twin lightweight, fairly flat, very thin porcelain plates with full Canton scenes are another mystery as to their originial usage. They are very small and too fragile as a teapot stand and they are unlike the several different butter pats which had higher sides. They also are not decorated like the late teacups so they are not teacup saucers. Over the years these are the only ones we have seen.
Sauce dishes, honey pats or different butter pats?
